Equine Applied Zoopharmacognosy  Workshops - Foundation & Masterclass Level
Our workshops are available either Onsite (Sligo, Ireland) or Live Online. In the morning students learn the theory and in the afternoon students attend practical sessions in our clinic where online and onsite students work together with horses using the Zoopharmacognosy approach. We are the only educational establishment within the equine industry using this hyflex approach and have found it extremely successful and valuable for people attending virtually.

“Attending a course in person when you cannot leave home sounds impossible. Covid has shown us how it can be done. Thankfully Carly Hillier and her team are using hyflex learning which offers clients the chance to attend online or in person. I found hyflex learning an excellent experience. I was literally in attendance and able to be part of all theoretical and practical sessions as though I was there. Would I recommend it to those that for whatever reason can’t get away? Yes, I would!”

"I would like to express my support for the work Carly Hillier is doing in the field of Zoopharmacognosy. During her equine workshop we saw instant improvement on two horses. She was also working with my dog that presented intermittently lame on the right hind leg - the lameness was completely resolved after an intense session.  As a supportive therapy, I find the use of Zoopharmacognosy very helpful for some veterinary patients "

Our Masterclass workshop encourages the participants to delve deeper into the nuances of Equine Applied Zoopharmacognosy. We expand on such aspects  as trauma, triggers and obstacles to success plus offering in emergencies. At this level students are expected to be far more 'hands on' than in our foundation Level leading and engaging with practicals on both days. Ideally, students will have had practice of using the extracts for a minimum of 6 months after having attended Foundation Level.
  • Intention - the Power and Science of
  • Opening the door for engagement
  • The process - individual MO's of horses
  • Considerations when offering
  • Emergencies & First Aid - colic, choke, wounds, shock

"It was wonderful and amazing the results we were able to see on the horses even after only the one session from one day to the other. Having that in mind,- it would be mind blowing to see what could be done over a longer period of time.
I can only recommend Carly and her approach to anyone who is interested in the welfare and health of their animals, no matter if they are owners, trainers, coaches or Vets,- this is something we all can do to help our animals on a level you can not explore any other way."
