New additions available for your Apothecary!
We are excited to introduce a Worming Kit of selected extracts for offering - the extracts include Neem oil (organic), Neem pwdr (organic), Wormwood pwdr, Thyme, Clove and Garlic essential oils.  We offer them routinely to control worm burdens here at Whitethorn Farm as well as implementing other management procedures such as Faecal Egg Counts and rotational grazing etc.

We have also sourced a new Co2 extract to add to your range of anti-inflammatories. Over the last few years in the Applied Zoopharmarmacognosy Industry, due to the concern over issues regarding obesity and pancreatitis (particularly with respect to dogs) there has been a drive to reduce where possible the level of carrier oils consumed during self-selection such as those found present in macerates. It is with this in mind that we have sourced and trialled Calendula Co2 extract here at our Clinic in Sligo. It's a sticky one that stains everything it comes into contact with yellow but very effective so the downsides are worth it we feel!
